Resovia took the lead 2:0. The hosts came from behind quickly with an effective block by Jurij Gladyr. The fight was fought point for point until the second technical break. Lotman finished the first set.
Kedzierzyn-Kozle improved in the second set and were more effective in attacking from the first ball. ZAKSA led 15:11. Changes did not help Rzeszow. Rouzier finished the second set.
In Resovia Nikola Kovacevic was doing well. When it was draw at 23 each, first Rouzier blocked Lotman, and then Fonteles first defended Rzeszow’s attack and then ended a counterattack.
In the fourth set ZAKSA began strong, it was 5-1. Jochen Schops was effective on the wings, and it was leveled at 15:15. When it was 22:20 the Polish champions committed two errors and three points stayed in Kedzierzyn-Kozle.
