Dinamo Moscow are still perfect in the 2020/21 Russian Men’s Volleyball Championship.

Dinamo Moscow beat Gazprom-Yugra in the Round 12 match (played in advance) of the 2020/21 Superliga Parimatch regular season for men: 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-21). This win in which Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov scored 21 points (5 aces) through 72 % attack (13/18) pushed the club from the Russian capital to the top of the charts.

Dinamo is the only team in the league that has a maximum score in terms of points scored and one of the two teams, along with Zenit-Kazan, with a perfect record of 5-0. On the other hand, Gazprom-Yugra are last-placed with 0-5.

Two more Superliga encounters were held today, both valid for Round 6.

Fakel (Maksim Zhigalov 20 points; 5 aces, Nikita Stulenkov 6 blocks, American Erik Shoji 76 % reception; 24 % excellent) noted the fourth successive victory (3-1 vs Yugra-Samotlor), making 21 blocks while doing so.

Ural (the Pole Maciej Muzaj 20 points) broke the losing streak of four games as they prevailed over Enisey by a 3-0 (31-29, 25-23, 25-23).
