Huge win for coach Ilic
Heavily strengthened Hara Morin squad was expected to give results a bit later when team get some together time but they’ve seem to be strong even now. Uralochka fell in Ulan-Ude after four sets 3-1 (17-25, 27-25, 26-24, 27-25), and also fell to a surprising 0-2 score, whilst Hara Morin sits at top part of the table with four other 2-0 teams.
Fakel easily won the game against Lipetsk at home with the 3-0 sweep. Only in third set, guests managed to repel the pressure of Fakel but also lost 25-22. First two periods ended very much one sided 25-16, 25-19.
Tyumen dominated most of the match versus Ufa and won fairly easy after four sets 3-1 (25-19, 25-22, 23-25, 25-12).
All the focus was at Krasnodar where derby match of the second round was played. Dinamo Moscow surprised the host in an amazing game. It started well for Krasnodar and the home team led after first set – 25-21. Then Dinamo rised to the occasion and managed to land the terrific turnaround. After two sets going for so long 26-28, 37-39, Krasnodar didn’t have stregth to pull back and Dinamo won 3-1.
Omichka got their three points in Odintsovo as expected as well as Dinamo Kazan in Saratov, both matches ended with the same result 1-3.
