In a duel of principled rivals, Lokomotiv beat Dinamo Moscow in Round 2 of the 2021/22 Russian Women’s Volleyball Championship.
Even though the 2021/22 club season in Russia is still in its infancy, Lokomotiv and Dinamo Moscow already met three times. Today, their first duel within the new edition of Superliga Parimatch was held and the titleholders from Kaliningrad prevailed over the rivals whom they beat for the national title last season: 3-1 (19-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-23).
The Pole Malwina Smarzek stood out on the winning side with 21 points. Ekaterina Evdokimova set up four blocks.
