Aleksey Spiridonov said couple of days ago that he played at the World Championship despite his injury and that he should go to surgery, but it seems that's not the case.

Spiridonov‘s representative Dmitry Rezvanov said for the Russian media that “Spirik” will not go to surgery infact he will be joining his team on Monday.
Aleksey’s knee is a bit sore and ligaments are cause him problems but it seems everything is fine with the Russian bad boy.
