Both Men’s and Women’s National Teams failed to reach the semifinal at the World Championship, but it seems that local media are more disappointed in girls.
Russia will stay without the medal at the Women’s World Championship for the first time since 1986, and will lose the gold after 8 years! Therefore some journalists were pretty harsh toward this team.
We have headline at rsport.ru – “Go away and shut the door“, while Sport-Express writes in a game report that the team which suffered only four defeats in the last year was simply not present in Italy.
