Amir Ghafour was Ural Ufa’s target for the season 2017/2018. The management of the Russian team was close to prepare an offer for Ghafour but they have decided to watch his performance live in Poland.
After not playing that good at the FIVB World League Group 1 Week 3, Ural Ufa’s management changed their mind. They were not satisfied with his display, especially with his service.
The Russian league was close to have another player from Iran, after Marouf (season 2014/2015), but it didn’t happen.
