RUS W: Do we have new title contenders after several seasons? Enisey pin champions Dinamo Moscow down!

After a few seasons in which Dinamo Moscow and Dinamo Kazan have been fighting for the Women’s volleyball national championship title in Russia, the 2017/18 might bring the new contenders for this.

Enisey Krasnoyarsk have an outstanding Superliga campaign for now. In the 3rd round, they defeated titleholders Dinamo Moscow in straight sets, partially 25-22, 25-21, 25-22, to make a 3-0 record!

The team led by the promising coach, a 33-year-old Aleksandr Koshkin, who was an assistant to Sergey Golotov last season, was probably the one to get the most of a bad financial situation of Dinamo Krasnodar last season. Two of the players that Enisey contracted from Krasnodar team this summer, the opposite Nataliya Malykh and receiver Viktoriya Chaplina-Rusakova, are unstoppable for the rivals in Superliga.
