Terzić – “That referee usually pays attention to water bottles”

Zoran Terzić, head coach of Serbia, has given an interesting statement for Serbian media after the game against Brazil.

Serbia lost that game, and in one point of the match, experienced coach was very unhappy about the referee’s call to punish his team because of the “mistake in rotation“.

I don’t comment things like is the ball out or not. But, when somebody calls a mistake in rotation, in a very specific moment of the close game, I have to complain. It would be like somone calls a footfault in the fifth set of the Wimbledon final“ stated Terzić for zurnal.rs and then continued:

“That referee who made the call about the mistake in rotation, which by the way did not happen, usually looks if water battles are in place and that sort of things. And, there are many volleyball things on the court which he does not see.”
