Since Cuban Volleyball Federation allowed its players to leave Cuba without a threat of suspension, from the beginning of this year, two players officially used that right.

After Javier Ernesto Jiménez reinforced Greek P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki, Yusidey Silié Frómeta (30) became a new member of the Turkish team Sarıyer Belediyesi.

Sarıyer hired another foreigner, a few days ago, the receiver of the British national team, Savanah Leaf, but she did not satisfy her employers during a trial.

Silié arrived to the Turkish team from Volley Ciudad Habana where she played after terminating the contract with the Russian Proton Saratov Balakovo and came with an aureole of a Cuban national team’s member.

She started her professional career as a setter, but then moved to the position of the receiver.
