This will be your first time to play at the CEV Champions League Final-Four. How do you feel about that?
“Of course I’m super excited to play the final four of the CEV Champions League. It will be one of the biggest matches in my career, so I am also a little bit nervous but in a good way. I’m looking forward to play!”
You are having a great first season in VakifBank, how would you describe your journey with the Turkish club so far?
“This year has already been amazing for me. To practice every day with so many great players was my dream. I have learned so much in a short time and I enjoy it a lot. Also, I must say that Vakif is a great team to play in. It feels like a family, it’s not only about how many points you make, but also what you are as a person. I like that a lot about the club.”
In the semifinals of the CEV Champions League your VakifBank will face Fenerbahce Grundig . What do you think about Fener?
“Fener has a great team with a lot of good players. It will be a really tough match. All the matches we played against each other till now have been 5-set matches so for sure this one will be a very hard one as well. But I’m looking forward to it, it’s always great to play against good teams.”
What are the advantages of VakifBank in that clash, and what are the advantages of Fenerbahce?
“I don’t really think of advantages or disadvantages, because at this level you have to focus on your own game. But, I am very confident about us as a team. We don’t depend on only one player, and that is a strong thing in our team.”
What might be the decisive factor in that game?
“What can be decisive are the small things, perhaps the amount of little mistakes. And of course the team that want it the most will win. We will have to go like crazy, like fighting for our lives, and we will do that, I’m sure!”

I believe that jimenez was just celebrating maybe not in the most quited way but the guy who crossed the net looking for problems was the one from olympiacos.
