Italian expert Lorenzo Tubertini is all set to succeed Oliver Lecat as the head coach of Montpellier. After his arrival in France last summer from Italy, Tubertini served as the assistant coach to Guillermo Falasca at Narbonne Volley.
Tubertini, at the age of 50, carries a wealth of coaching experience, having already held prominent head coach positions in Italy. His former assignments include Siena (2021-2022), Lagonegro (2020-2021), Cisterna (2018-2020), and Mantua (2005-2008).
Notably, Tubertini boasts an impressive portfolio of titles, particularly during his tenure at Modena. His accolades include the Champions League (2003), the CEV Cup (2004), the Italian Cup (2015 and 2016), the Italian championship (2016), and the Italian Super Cup (2015 and 2016).
