Qualifications for the next Men’s EuroVolley are over with two gamedays in a row last weekend. During last week, 10 out of 12 possible berths for the major continental event have been taken. Four national teams were in contention for the remaining two slots and these were taken by Denmark (the second-placed from Pool A) and Croatia (the second-placed from Pool E). Both won the last matches of their respective pools in straight sets: Denmark prevailed over Azerbaijan and Croatia over Cyprus. Slovakia and Latvia also had chances to qualify ahead of the last round but ended up ranked beyond fifth place in the overall ranking of pools’ runners-up.

We remind you that 12 out of 24 teams get an automatic qualification (four organizing countries and the best eight teams from the 2021 European Championship). Twelve places have just been grabbed through qualifications: winners of seven pools and five best runners-up.
