CSV Challenger Cup Qua. W: Peru won top place

Peru defeated Colombia with 3-1 and with three wins, won the South American Qualifier to the Challenger Cup.

  

Karla Beatriz Ortiz was the top scorer of the match with 20 points, while Clarivett Yllescas and Brenda Daniela Uribe contributed 17 and 13 points. 

Peru will continue their preparation for the XI Games Odesur Cochabamba 2018, from June 3 to Jun 8 against Bolivia, Argentina and Colombia. And from June 20 to 24 they will host the Challenger Cup where the champion will qualify for the FIVB Volleyball Nations League 2019.

Colombia - Venezuela 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-17)
Peru - Chile 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-13)

Day 2 
Colombia - Chile 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-15)
Peru - Venezuela 3-0 (25-16, 25-12, 25-19)

Day 3
Venezuela – Chile 0-3 (16-25, 21-25, 14-25)
Peru - Colombia 3-1 (24-26, 25-13, 25-12, 25-22)

She quit the national team to spend more time with her son if I remember correctly. It was never an issue of quality, she is still a top player. Reply

Zhu Ting hurt her wrist and went out of the match leading 2-0. She is not expected to play the next match vs VakifBank. Reply
