The season in Turkey for Besiktas is over. Have you achieved your goals?
„Yes I think that it was a great season for Besiktas and me as well. We wrote a history in the Challenge Cup, it was amazing to play in the finals. Of course, I wanted to be a champion but sometimes we can’t have everything that we want. W gave our best.“
It was your first season in Turkey. Are you satisfied with your performances?
“Yes, I’m satisfied! It was my first season and it was difficult at the beginning. Escpecially the adaptation to this new world for me. But, with a hard work and patience, results came. Also I’m thankful to Besiktas team, staff, managers, coach, fans, because since the first moment that I arrived they helped me a lot.“
Could you tell us how it looks like when you play in league with the teams such as Vakifbank, Fenerbahce, Eczacibasi Vitra…?
„Look, it is difficult. These teams are on great level, at the top, sometimes you can play perfect but they will play more perfect! But they can’t relax, because sometimes you can beat them like we did with Eczacibasi, so I just try to be focused and nothing is impossible even if I have Vakifbank in front of me, maybe it’s gonna be my lucky day!“
Where will you continue your career?
„I don’t know yet, I wanna stay in Turkey but nothing is clear at the moment“
At the World Championship in Italy, you will face the host team, Germany, Croatia, Tunisia and team from Norceca 2. What are your chances of advancing to the next round?
„I think that Argentina is growing up, step by step, I hope that we can play at our best, and we will see if we can pass to the next round.“
What will you do during summer holiday?
„I have some free days that national team gave me, so I came to Barcelona to see my husband who is my strength and conditioning coach, and he is studying his Master in sports training.“
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
„Uff this is a good question! With a baby!“
