The team was leading 2:0 and 16:12 and 20:17 in the third set. At this point, something changed. Athletes of Sopot took the initiative. Very good distribution started from the part of the setter Isabella Bełcik, who was nominated the MVP of the meeting.

Atom Trefl won the third set. The fight in the fourth even outclassed his rivals. At the beginning of the tie-break, after two blocks on Rachel Rourke there was an advantage 4-2. The guest team scored another three points and they changed sides on 8:6. The changes of coach Adam Grabowski, who during the season replaced George Matlak, have already gave the initiative.
Atom Trefl defended the polish titile. At the end of last season a lot of changes have taken place. – A team of Sopot showed that fights untill the end.
The two teams met in the finals of the Polish Cup. The trophy won Tauron MKS. The players of coach Waldemar Jackdaws were the first ones to advanced to the final competition for the Polish championship.
