ARG W: Argentine seniors’ women team started new phase

This Monday, March 4th started at Cenard facilities a new process for the Argentine Seniors' Women Team with their first official training under the coaching of Guillermo Orduna. You can read all relevant news from volleyball world on Worldofvolley.com.

Orduna was supported by Juan Manuel Serramalera, new Assistant Coach of this team and Marcelo Magliarella, its trainer. Also, Guillermo Caceres, who is the leader coach of the women’s and girls’ grass-root teams helped in the training.

Among those summon, are the main and great experienced National players like Yael Castiglione and Tatiana Rizzo. “To wear the light blue – white Argentine Jersey is not something one does every day” started saying the setter to complete: “The main goal of this group is, as there is not a big difference among the players’ level, each to do her utmost to give the National Team part of her work“.

Rizzo mentioned meanwhile two goals: “Our first goal is to qualify for the World Championship 2014, even though our dream is also to qualify for the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games 2016. We also head towards giving the best of each of us“.

The players started with weights and training on their first day of work, program they will repeat on the following days.
