Buenos Aires had no problems in the first set, they were leading by a large margin from the start (8:5, 12:6). The hosts had a reliable reception and a numer of solutions in the attack, and the lead increased (18:8, 22:10) before closing the set 25:12.
The second set remined of the first, Bueanos Aires won 25:17.
In the third set, everyone expected a clear victory from the host, but La Union started playing better and won 19:25.
The guests didn’t stop there, but went on with their good game in the fourth. With a confident play, they were leading 16:20, and closed the set 19:25.
It was a tough battle in the tiebreak. Buenos Aires led 8:7, and then 10:8, but a mistake by Romanutti allowed the guests to tie 10:10. It was played point for point, until Valentin Forastiero closed the match with a serve 16:14.
Bruno Romanutti was the top scorer with 24 points for the home side, Ezequiel Palacios was the best for the guests with 15.
