In a very crowded stadium to be a friendly match the Argentine and Brazilian Youth's Girls teams faced each other in their training towards the nearby South American Championship that qualifies for the 2013 World Championship.

Once more in a tie-breaker as on the second match, the host team won making a great effort to defeat the Argentine team that played their third international match in their lifes 3-2 (25-17, 18-25, 19-25, 27-25, 15-11). This Saturday afternoon they will play the last friendly match and then the light blue – white team will return home.

Argentina had a good control on the second and third set and the fourth was played even with the visiting team having three match balls but not being able to close it. The effort of the local team with a “7th” player cheering – the audience – put the victory and the boost of the last effort at home.

Elina Rodríguez was the top scorer of the match with 24 points while the captain Karoline with 18 was the best for the home team.

“We could have won the fourth set and the match but their experienced overwhelmed our young girls. Too much pressure from the audience they have to learn to handle but to play against a strong team as Brazil is always good to improve our rhythm” said the Argentine coach Guillermo Caceres.
