See innovative Brazilian training for sliding saves (VIDEO)

Sliding saves are very crucial in defense in modern volleyball.

 

 

If you don’t have players in your team willing and trained well to fall for the ball in attempt to save the point, your chances to win a match are small.

That’s why Brazilian coach in youth categories, Ediney Zeferino de Lima, decided to imrove this segment of defense by introducing Swiss ball in trainings of his team, Olympico Club Belo Horizonte Under 20.

Many players don’t know how to make dive-save, so this can help them free of the fear to go on the ground…

I understand intention, but no point to do it, no transfer to dive-save at all.
