Nikita Stulenkov, who became the silver medalist of the Romanian Men’s Championship Divizia A1 Masculinin with SCM “U” Craiova and competed in the 2017 CEV Champions League, will continue his career in another club from this country, Tricolorul LMV Ploiești.
With his new teammates, Stulenkov will be able to play in another European Cup next season – the Challenge Cup.
Ploiești made a highly ambitious project for the 2017/18, aiming for the title in Romania. They have extended the deal with Venezuelan setter José Carrasco ‘Chema’, Bulgarian middle blocker Pavel Dushkov, Montenegrin receiver Aleksandar Milivojević, and Ukrainian middle blocker Kostiantyn Zhylinskyi.
In addition, Ploiești hired setter Cristian-Andrei Bartha (SCM “U” Craiova), Rwandan opposites Nelson Murangwa (Mutalan Riento, Finland) and Alexander Kullo (AS Volei Club Caransebeș), Dutch libero Gijs Jorna (Chaumont Volley Ball 52, France), Austrian libero Philipp Kroiss (Lindemans Aalst, Belgium), receiver Bogdan Olteanu (Exprivia Molfetta, Italy) and opposite Laurențiu Lică (SCM “U” Craiova).
