In the Mobiliar Volley Cup 2018 final, which was held in Freiburg and was a rerun of the last year’s gold medal encounter, Volley Amriswil swept Biogas volley näfels by a 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-11).

Swiss volleyball federation (Swiss Volley) website reported that Amriswil were pushed a bit by the referees in the second set, but added they deserved to win the trophy without any doubts.

Both sides were weakened in the match: the Brazilian Hugo Hamacher and Serbian Nemanja Radović did not play for Amriswil, while Reto Giger could not perform for Näfels, all due to injuries.

The Serbian Nemanja Jakovljević topped Amriswil with 15 points. The Venezuelan José Fabián Martínez scored 11 points for Näfels.
