SWE M: Linköpings playing coach Eriksson records 85% reception but Hylte/Halmstad gain 2-0 in finals

Hylte/Halmstad once again defeated Linköpings VC in the Swedish volleyball championship Elitserien 2017/18 playoff finals.

Hylte-Halmstad vs. Linkopings

The second-seed Hylte/Halmstad took a huge 2-0 lead against No.1 Linköpings in the finals of the Elitserien 2017/18 and now need one more win to clinch the championship title.

By prevailing in Game 1, Hylte/Halmstad scored their first win over titleholders Linköpings in the season and ended their brutal winning streak.

As for Game 2, Hylte/Halmstad won it by a 3-1 (25-17, 25-22, 21-25, 25-17) thanks to 24 points from Viktor Lindberg and 22 points from American Nicholas Goodell. Anton Tegenrot made 77% reception (13 digs, 1 error, 62% perfect).

Martin Larsson delivered 19 points for Linköpings, while their playing coach Albin Eriksson recorded 85% reception (34 digs, 2 errors, 65% perfect).

Game 3 is scheduled for April 22.
