“I spent 11 years in the club, and I experienced USC MUNSTER as a team that never dropped a player. I created a pros and cons list and decided it was time to end my career. The Bundesliga requirements are just to great” Andrea said.
Andrea sustained a serious ligament ijnury in 2008 which played a role in her decision making.
Axel Buring commented: “This is a decision made on her own and for that she deserves great respect.“
USC‘s president Matthias Fell said that Andrea should stay in USC and be a part of the team’s structure.
