Berlin won the first set with 25:23 and Friedrichshafen was better in the second with 25:21.
Thanks to Shoji and Hohne, Berlin made a big comeback winning the third set. However, it did not manage to secure the advantage and lost in 4. set.
The team of Lebedew was better in the tie-break, thus qualifying for the finals.
