Dutch trio feels at home in Dresden
The girls were absolutely thrilled as they got the opportunity to taste some Dutch food, like pannkoeken, frikandellen spezial and others.
“That was just delicious” says de Kruijf.
“I do not eat things like these all the time if I am in the Netherlands, but here it has got a special flavor, it feels a little like being at home”.
Pietersen tried out also the so-called “bitterballen” and clearly asserted her intention to come back in the future.
The discovery of this restaurant could be another reason for the three “Oranjes” to stay in Dresden also for the next season.
“That’s true, but our main goal for the moment remains to help the team as much as possible and fight for the title in the national championship” states Stoltenborg.
