Trentino dropped three points which they practically had in the pocket in the home match against Calzedonia Verona and had to settle for two points. The visiting side pushed the Round 4 match of the 2019/20 SuperLega Credem Banca regular season to the tie-break despite being two sets down. However, Trentino, whose play melted down after they got 2-0 lead in sets, have saved the invincibility in the competition (4-0) by taking the tie-break: 3-2 (25-22, 25-22, 21-25, 19-25, 16-14).
The hosts had four players whose scoring output was in double digits, led by American Aaron Russell (20 points). Bulgarian Asparuh Asparuhov and Frenchman Stéphen Boyer tallied 21 points apiece, while Emanuele Birarelli made 4 kill blocks.

Giannelli had things cooking and went away from the hot hand in Russell. Kovacevic wasnt his best today but that shows the strength and depth of thia team. Great fight from Verona. The league is a lot of fun thia year.
