The 2022 Italian Men’s Volleyball Cup will end with the predicted challenge: Sir Safety Conad Perugia vs Itas Trentino.
Sir Safety Conad Perugia confirmed the prediction of the eve and went to the finals of the 2022 Del Monte® Coppa Italia SuperLega. It was a tough challenge for Nikola Grbić’s charges in the semis in Bologna given that their rivals Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza played on par with them for 3 of the total of 4 sets. Cuban-Polish Wilfredo León collected the highest number of points in Perugia: 26. American Matthew Anderson and Argentine Sebastian Solé made 4 blocks apiece.
Itas Trentino dominated the second semi-final against Allianz Milano. Led by Daniele Lavia (19 points), the team commanded by Angelo Lorenzetti showed from the first set that it wasn’t in the mood for presents. Serbian Srećko Lisinac set up 5 blocks.
