In the first game of the Serie A1 Semifinal series, Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano defeated Igor Gorgonzola Novara 3-0.
Conegliano dominated from the start, with Lubian, Fahr, and Robinson Cook making important plays at the net. Novara struggled with their attack and fell behind early. Isabelle Haak delivered powerful spikes for Imoco, and despite Novara’s attempts to mount a comeback, the first set ended with a score of 25-16 in Imoco’s favor. In the second set, Conegliano continued to push and put Novara in serious trouble. Although Novara tried to come back, Imoco eventually won the set 25-22. In the third set, Novara played much more aggressively, but Conegliano managed to regain the lead. In a thrilling finale, Imoco won 26-24. Game 2 will take place on April 29th.
