Berenika Tomsia did not take long to find new club after parting ways with Imoco Conegliano.

A 28-year-old Polish opposite hitter is the new player of other Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship team, Saugella Monza.

Tomsia, the youngest volleyball player ever to wear the jersey of the Polish Women’s National Team (at the age of 16 years), was the best scorer of Serie A1 last season. While defending the colors of Metalleghe Montichiari, she scored 472 points in 92 sets, averaging 1.5 blocks per game.

The arrival of Tomsia was a sign to RussianIrina Smirnova to find new club for the rest of the season.
