In the second match of the day JTEKT outplayed Osaka Sakai 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-21, 26-24) and the Bulgarian star Matey Kaziyski was the top scorer of the match with 27 points (25 att, 1 bl, 1 ac) while Wallace Martins with 26 points (23 att, 3 bl) led Sakai.

In the women’s v-league JT Marvelous defeated Hitachi in the tie-break after the opponent’s team led 2:0 – (23-25, 15-25, 28-26, 25-16, 16-14). Brankica Mihajlovic scored 32 points (29 att, 1 bl, 2 ac) for the winning team while Cursty Jackson finished the match with 18 points (13 att, 5 bl).
Body Queenseis had an easier job, they crushed Toray Arrows 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-22) and the Turkish attacker Neriman Ozsoy was the top scorer with 23 points (22 att, 1 bl, 1 ac).
