After three finals in the past, this season Hi-pass Expressway finally lifted the trophy of the new champions of Korean volleyball league.
In the big final of the championship, Expressway finished series with 3-0 against IBK Altos. Today they for the third time defeated IBK with 3-1 (26-24, 25-16, 21-25, 25-12) and won their first ever title.
Madison Kingdon Richel was the top scorer of the match with 26 points but that wasn’t enough for the victory. On the other side, Jeong-Ah Park and Ivana Nešović scored 19 points each. Park was also named for the MVP of the Finals.
At the end of the championship, Madison is the best scorer of the whole season with 1034 points from 36 matches while Nesovic finished in the third place with 825 points in 32 matches.
