Volleyball Australia announced that Dave Preston has been named head coach of the Australian men’s national team, known as the Volleyroos.
The Canadian has more than 12 years of international coaching experience at all levels with the Canadian team. His resume includes more than a decade with the Canadian team, including the position of junior head coach and assistant coach of senior men’s team.
Preston has spent nearly three decades in university volleyball, and has been named Conference Coach of the Year 7 times and National Coach of the Year 3 times.

- Head Coach, McMaster University Men’s Volleyball, winning10 championships overall including 6 consecutive (2012-2018) and 6 National Championship medals during the same period.
