Former national team member Tijana Malesevic has decided to say goodbye to volleyball at the age of 29.
“Over the past two years, I was thinking about ending my career. Last year, I talked to coach Zoran Terzic and I am grateful that he understood my need to take a break from the national team. Simply, I feel that I need space for my private life. I started feeling that these things with volleyball are not satisfying for me. I don’t have the desire to play volleyball like before and that’s why I made an easy decision. It’s enough,” says Tijana Malesevic for the Serbian website alo.rs.
Tijana Malesevic was a member of the Serbian national team for many years, winning a lot of trophies including the FIVB World Championship 2018 and two CEV European Championships…
One more player of the Serbian national team will take a short break from volleyball as well.
