”This is so much fun, we never saw the national team playing here in Halmstad before. We have gotten the autographs of each player and we even got a hug from all of them” Amanda Hagestam and Kajsa Holmquist say.
The young girls speak with passion about the event and they even sang a song to the players to congratulate them after the end of the qualification tournament where Sweden came in second place. Two of the girls’ favourite players are the brothers Jakob and Anton Wijk Tegenrot, libero and wing-spiker on the team. None of them was used to sign as many autographs as they did this weekend but they certainly liked it.
”This was very funny, we couln’t believe this would attract so many spectators, especially to get our signature. This is a great way of meeting the fans and getting to talk to them and have a good time together. We would like to do this more often” Jakob Wijk Tegenrot says.
