“Our women’s national team is participating in the European League for the third consecutive year” said the President of the Hungarian Volleyball Federation, Csaba Poór. “I am happy with the first victory we scored this past weekend in Turkey. The next three days will be exciting and I hope that many people will come to the sports hall to cheer on our players and watch out for their next victories” he added.
“I do not want to make any prediction about the result of the matches coming up this weekend but I just would like to say that we have to think positive and the rest will follow. We will miss Dora Horvath but nevertheless we will have to play aggressive” stressed head coach Laszlo Hollosy.
“This rule limiting the time between rallies to only 10 seconds is really tough to stand” said team captain Rita Liliom. “We did feel some rush and this resulted in many serving errors this past weekend in Bursa. I hope that this rule being tested in the European League won’t become effective one day though people can adjust to everything”.
