JPN W: WOW! Kulan notches 46 points as Toray become vice leaders

Slovakian-Azerbaijani international Jana Kulan staged an absolutely superb scoring output in the 13th round of the 2021/22 Japanese Women’s Volleyball Championship.

The Toray Arrows, the vice-champions, are currently having the longest winning streak in the 2021/22 Women’s V.League Division 1 thanks to which they reached the vice leader’s position in the charts. The Ōtsu-based recorded the fifth successive win, which was achieved in the big match against the Denso Airybees (fourth-placed) valid for Round 13.

The encounter was undeniably marked with the scoring output of Jana Kulan. The 34-year-old Slovakian-Azerbaijani international from Toray notched 46 points! She attacked as many as 80 times with a success rate of 55%.
