Amriswil is the new Swiss Men’s champion. Chênois capitulated in 3 matches of the playoff finals of the 2021/22 NLA Männer, including today’s Game 3, giving away the crown to Cuban Luis Sosa and his teammates. So, after the Cup victory, Amriswil also took the championship title.

The team of outgoing Argentine coach Juan Manuel Serramalera, the top-seed, conceded only one set in 3 matches of the finals and thus took revenge for the lost final against the Geneva team a year ago. Amriswil became the champion for the 5th time in the club history after 2009, 2010, 2016, and 2017.
