The Serbian vice-champions have continued building the roster for the next season.
In order to bring back the trophy they won in the season 2020/2021, UB have decided to sign Katarina Lukic. It’s her comeback since she was actually a setter that led UB to the championship trophy.
The 24-year-old setter is coming from GZOK Srem.
This is not the only acquisition of the team from UB. They have also signed a contract with outside hitter Aleksandra Cveticanin.
She is coming back to the Serbian elite women’s league after spending 5 years abroad. Cveticanin gained experience playing in Romania (Lugoj, CSO Voluntari), Hungary (RK Jaszbereny), Finland (LP Vampula, Hameenlinnan Lentopallokerho) and Croatia (HAOK Mladost Zagreb).
Recall that recently two players extended their contracts and one has joined the team…
