Bricio decided to pause her career after playing in China in the last couple of months and didn’t go to Russia as anticipated. The biggest Mexican star, who ended the Chinese Championship by losing the final series with Shanghai to Tianjin, communicated with a post through social media. She explained that contrary to what was announced, she won’t play the second half of the season in Dinamo Moscow, but will take a short break from playing volleyball.

Bricio admitted that she had the intention to join Dinamo but felt shoulder pain while competing in Asia: “Even though it’s nothing too serious, the best for me is to stop for a short period of time, get a specialist’s opinion and do rehab to be able to come back 100% and not let the pain limit my performance.“
