Gajić and Kovač
They will compete in Pool A with Italy, Brazil and Poland, and because of that they came to Belgrade on few friendlies games with Serbia. But, because of the situation in the country teams will only practice together.
Today Kovač has met Zoran Gajić, former head coach of Yugoslavia, Russia and Iran, who told:
“Iran can achieve huge successes with Kovač. He was a good player and now he is a great coach” said Zoran Gajić who won a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics and a bronze medal at the 1996 at Atlanta with Yugoslavia.
