Žarko Ristoski
At the end of 2014, the Macedonian Ministry of Sport and the Union of all sports Federations in that country voted Žarko Ristoski the best head coach of the year.
This award came to Ristoski as a result of the greatest achievement of Macedonian volleyball in its history – the semifinals of the European League in 2014.
Because of that success, Macedonian national team advanced 67 places at the FIVB rankings – from 123rd to 56th.
