They are last placed team and that’s the first problem. The second heavy blow – the main sponsor “Arbo Rotterdam”announced that they will not renew contract with the club in the next season.
“We signed two year deal and we are close to the end of that contract. I hope they will find new sponsor. We want to invest money in other sports like water polo and baseball. I’m not very happy with the policy. The club must fit with our company and our identity. Only the best are good enough for us” said the owner of Arbo Rotterdam Dragan Culic.
The team’s president remains positive, despite these problems that hit the club:
“It’s a big disappointment for us. But, we want to take the challenge. There are a few ideas and we are negotiating with several clubs in Rotterdam area. We have to find sponsors, because without money it will be a difficult story.”
