Jiangsu vs. Beijing
Beijing achieved straight-set away win over Jiangsu with huge performance by Australian Thomas Edgar – 25 points! He was the only player with double digits in winning team. Chen Zhang had 12 in Jiangsu.
Led by Italian Giulio Sabbi (24 points), Shanghai opened Top 8 with a 3-pointer. They beat Henan at home court 3-1. Despite being on exit doors, according to some media, American Scott Touzinsky remained in Shanghai until further and entered into Set 4 (one point). In Henan, Cui Jianjun scored 23.
Third title favorites, Sichuan suffered upset at home against Shandong (3-1), but with the Polish duo on a high level again – Michał Łasko (23 pts.), Zbigniew Bartman (19). Ji Daoshuai 17 topped scorers in winning team with 17.
Fujian signed their name among those teams that scored win at start od the second stage. They beat Bayi (3-1) with 21 from Chen Chienchen. Zhong Weijun scored 20 in losing team.
