SRB: Serbia, Brazil and USA got honored by FIVB

On the FIVB Congress held in Anaheim, a special recognition was paid to Serbia, Brazil and USA. Their national teams are placed among the top 10 in the current FIVB ranking. After them are Russia, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Cuba, Argentina, Germany, Japan, China, Turkey, Dominican Republic, Spain, Iran, France and Peru.

Serbia, Brazil and USA are the only selections that are ranked among the top 10 in the Senior men’s, women’s as well as the youth and juniors men’s and women’s rankings. In the youth and junior men’s Serbia is first, in the women’s sixth, seventh in the senior men’s ranking, and in the women’s seniors ninth. Among the four FIVB rankings there are a total of 18 countries.

Serbia, Brazil and the United States are followed by Russia and Italy, which have three teams in the FIVB rankings among the top ten, then Poland, Bulgaria, Cuba, Argentina, Germany, Japan, China, Turkey and the Dominican Republic, which has two teams in the FIVB rankings lists, and Spain, Iran, France and Peru with one selection at FIVB rankings among the top ten teams.
