Playing one of its best games of the season Atom Sopot of Chiappini and Negro won 3. game against Muszyna in 3 sets.



The first set started evenly (7:7), then thanks to Wensink and Werblinksa Muszyna got to 7:10. With the block of Bednarek (9:13) and the counterattack of Rourke (9:14) it secured a maximum advantage.

However, Sieczka (11:14), Kozuch (12:14) and Hodge (15:16) made the comeback. The ace of Hodge (18:19), and the counterattack Kozuch evened the score (19:19). The block of Rourke (24:22) and the ace of Sieczka, closed the first set in favor of Sopot 25:22.

In the second set Atom took the lead with the counterattack of Hodge 3:1 and Kozuch 4:1. However, 2 aces of Werblinska reversed the situation (6:7). Then Sopot changed the score with Glass (8:7) and Sieczka 9:7.

Bednarek managed to lower the difference with 2 blocks on Kozuch (12:13), and one on Sieczka (12:14). After the second technical time-out Sopot took the lead of 18:16. Stam evened the result (19:19), but Sieczka added 2 more points from the attack (21:20, 22:20). Kozuch blocked Werblinska and closed the set with 25:22.

In the third set Atom started badly (0:6) with 4 errors in the attack. Thanks to the ace of Kozuch (5:9) and the error of Kaczor, Muszyna lowered the difference in result (7:10). Sopot was leading until 15. point and then Bednarek secured the lead of her team 15:18. Werblinska made an error (17:18) and Sieczka evened the result 19:19. The game was played point by point until the end of the set and finished with the victory of Sopot with 26:24.
