In a hit that closed Round 11 of 2021/22 Polish Men’s Volleyball Championship, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie prevailed over PGE Skra Bełchatów and took over their place in the charts.
It does not happen often that a team takes one set 25-10 but loses the match. That is exactly what happened to Skra in the hit of Round 11 of the 2021/22 PlusLiga against Aluron. The latter won after the tie-break in which the two sides had more than 10 match balls combined. Skra’s winning streak of three games came to an end, while Aluron were successful after two straight defeats. Furthermore, the Zawiercie took over fourth place in the standings from today’s rivals.
Dawid Konarski top-scored Aluron with 22 points, while Miłosz Zniszczoł made as many as seven blocks.
