Experienced opposite stated that he is proud of the fact that he spent so many years in Jastrzebski.
“I always say that I came to Jastrzebski to stay for a year, but I stayed much longer. I played four years for this club and I would have probably stayed even longer if some unfortunate circumstances had not happened. I enjoyed my time in Poland, and Jastrzebski is definitely one of the elite volleyball clubs. I hope that they will return to their rightful place.”
Lasko also revealed that he had other offers this summer, and some of them came from Turkey.
“I talked with some clubs from Turkey, however those discussions stretched over time. They lasted too long and they lacked specifics. I figured that if someone is not able to decide, I should say – Thank you and goodbye. I do not want to wait forever. As time was passing I received a concrete offer from China and I decided to give it a try. I am looking at this as an interesting experience. Sometimes in life you have to try something new. I will move there with my family.”
Recall that Michal Lasko and Zbigniew Bartman will play together in Sichuan next season.

Totally right. They always say to players to wait and they want to negotiate in July. They don’t realize that almost all players sign in May-June. Turkish clubs have to understand that players should be signed before because they make part of international market, and that nobody will wait for them, even if they offer much more money! At least untill this season!
