“Our group is not the strongest, but we can not underestimate anybody”, said Andrea Anastasi. “The fact that we are the favorites does not mean that we will win all the matches. Every opponent will be strongly motivated in matches with us, everyone will want to pull out our points, to surprise.”
“I think our toughest opponent in the group will be French. This is a young team that has more than once proven that they can afford much.”
If Poland advances to quarter finals, they will play against the winner of the group D.
“Group D is very strong”, said Andrea Anastasi. “It does not matter who we will get, because in any case it will be a really tough game. It would be nice if we could miss the Russians. However, none of the teams in Group D will be an easy opponent for us.”
