Szalpuk
The 22-year-old Artur Szalpuk has signed one-year contract with Gdansk after season in Skra Belchatow. In the previous season he won silver medal in Polish PlusLiga also reached the final of Polish Cup and played in CEV Champions League.
For Skra he played 29 matches and won 199 points.
“I feel ready to play regularly in the starting lineup and be an important figure in the team fighting for high goals. I wanted to spend another season at the club, which will give me that opportunity and that is why I am glad that we were able to quickly reach an agreement with Lotos Trefl. It is a well-organized club, located in the beautiful city and in one of the most beautiful halls in Poland. With coach Andrea Anastasim, who developed the talent of many players, I am sure that I am also under his guidance I could still improve my skills. I believe that both for me and for the club this season will be very fruitful” said the 22-year-old player.
